Avvo Legal Forms are a way to develop legal documents and contracts. Our form editor offers free templates and easy step-by-step instructions so anyone can create and sign a legal document.

How does it work?

  3. Save, download, and share your document.


We partnered with HelloSign to make it easy for you and anyone else to sign your document. Once you are ready for signatures, send it to the people you want and they can sign it, with or without an Avvo account. There are some documents that cannot be signed electronically because they have other requirements, such as needing a witness.

Editing and locking

You can edit the form until you send it out for signatures. Once it's sent, no one can make edits. If there are changes that need to be made after you send it to be signed, you can easily duplicate the document from your dashboard, make the edits, and resend.


Save as many forms as you want to your My documents dashboard. You can work on any form at your own pace. You can also come back to old forms finalized and duplicate them if you need more copies or just need to make a small change, like increasing rent on a lease.


You can download a form and save it to your personal computer at any time. You can also print or email it—it's your document.
